The motor-assisted ASTR with SRAM XPLR AXS top-of-the-line shifting offers an exceptional gravel bike riding experience. It combines pure dynamism with the elegant, quiet and ultra-light assistance of the TQ-HPR40 drive, which sets new standards with a motor weight of only 1.2 kg and a 290 Wh battery weighing 1.42 kg. Instead of a display on the top tube, the E-ASTR features discreet LEDs in the handlebar plugs – minimalist but impressively powerful cutting-edge technology.
The motor is discreetly integrated behind the chainrings, while the battery is elegantly concealed in the down tube. This e-gravel bike from Ridley guarantees a sporty, natural riding experience – just with a little extra, without compromising on smoothness or control. The optional range extender (160 Wh) provides a range suitable for everyday use – without compromising on weight or looks. Both in terms of appearance and riding experience, the E-ASTR remains true to a classic gravel bike.
The E-ASTR is the electric version of our ASTR RS – the benchmark for gravel performance. Built around the same frame and sporty geometry, it delivers the familiar ride characteristics – enhanced by a subtle boost from the compact and virtually silent TQ HPR40 motor.
With tire clearance of up to 52 mm and a geometry designed for control, agility, and speed, the E-ASTR stays true to its racing heritage. The motor support feels completely natural, fades out smoothly above 25 km/h, and provides power exactly when it’s needed. The integrated 290 Wh battery and optional 160 Wh range extender ensure everyday-ready range – without compromising weight or aesthetics.
The E-ASTR guarantees a sporty, natural riding experience – with that extra edge, without sacrificing smoothness or control.
