A low bottom bracket as well as long head tubes and top tubes form a sporty, yet tour-ready seating position; all cables are routed internally so that the purist design is preserved. The Gates Carbon belt (39 teeth at the front, 28 at the rear) transfers power to the fine-toothed rear hub; the hydraulic Shimano Alfine S7000 disc brake with 160-millimetre rotors ensures reliable deceleration. A refined Brooks B17 saddle and the ergonomic Schindelhauer leather grips further enhance the riding feel. Mudguards, front and rear racks and optional lighting can be added at any time thanks to the mounting points and a permissible total weight of 120 kilogrammes.
