Shipping a bicycle to Switzerland: €149
Direct shipping to Switzerland

If you order your bicycle with a delivery address in Switzerland, the German VAT of 19% will not be charged.

When importing the bicycle into Switzerland, you will pay Swiss VAT, currently 8.1%. Bicycles are generally not subject to Swiss industrial tariffs.

Additional fees may be charged by the shipping or customs clearance provider for handling the import process.

How much will my bicycle cost in Switzerland?

Here's an example:

A bicycle costs €2,999 in Germany including 19% VAT.

Price excluding German VAT: approx. €2,520

+ Shipping to Switzerland: €149

Swiss import VAT of 8.1% is charged on the relevant import value. Additional customs clearance fees may also apply.

This means that buying from Radfieber can still be very attractive despite the cost of shipping to Switzerland – especially for high-quality or hard-to-find bicycles.

Alternative: Delivery to a German address

Do you live near the border or would you prefer to collect your bicycle yourself in Germany?

That's possible too. You initially pay the German retail price including 19% VAT and then import the bicycle into Switzerland yourself in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Once you provide us with the required proof of export, we can refund the German VAT.

Is your dream bike available from us?
