Ridley engineers developed the Omnium Fast with a focus on group sprints on the track. The Omnium geometry was specially designed for optimal maneuverability and responsiveness in the peloton. With aerodynamic tube shapes, a newly developed handlebar, and flip chips in the fork for every Omnium discipline: the scratch race, the tempo race, the elimination race, and the points race.
Through collaboration with Belgian Cycling, Belgian track cyclists were able to provide their feedback on the bike. In the long term, all these riders will be riding Ridley track bikes. Lindsay De Vylder is the ideal ambassador for the Omnium Fast. De Vylder became world champion in this discipline last fall. Champions deserve the best bike for every discipline.

Enable Youtube videosThe Ridley Omnium Fast is a dedicated track bike, engineered purely for the velodrome. Its frame is crafted from high-modulus carbon and belongs to the Belgian brand's Elite Series. The aerodynamic tube shapes exploit the relaxed UCI rules from 2022, which allow profiles with an 8-to-1 ratio – making the tubes longer and narrower so they slice through the air.
Power comes from a brutal single-speed drivetrain: a Rotor Vegast crankset with 52 teeth up front and a 16-tooth Miche cog at the rear. That means exactly one gear – no derailleur, no cables, no distractions. You'll search in vain for lights, mudguards, racks or bikepacking mounts: the Omnium Fast is a stripped-down race machine where every gram and every line is tuned for maximum speed in a tightly packed bunch.
Special features include a completely newly developed carbon aero handlebar that measures just 35 centimetres wide – the minimum permitted by UCI regulations – topped with integrated "horns" for an ultra-streamlined position. Flip chips in the fork let you fine-tune trail and rake on the fly: forward for extra agility, rearward for a more forgiving feel. The dropouts are also future-proof, accepting both classic bolt-on track wheels and modern thru-axle wheelsets.
The name "Omnium" comes from Latin – "omnium" translates to "of all" or "belonging to all". It denotes the famous track cycling multi-event, which since 2017 consists of four races: the scratch race, the tempo race, the elimination race and the points race. To win the omnium you must be a complete all-rounder – and that is exactly the requirement this bike embodies. The suffix "Fast" points to the aerodynamic DNA that builds directly on the success of the Arena Fast. "Pearl White / Dove Grey Glossy" finally denotes the high-gloss paint scheme: an elegant pearl white with discreet dove grey accents that looks almost too refined for all that racing severity.
While the Arena Fast is conceived for pursuit and individual time trials, the Omnium Fast features a completely reworked geometry. The steeper head tube angle delivers maximum manoeuvrability and responsiveness – essential amid the wave-like movements and sudden attacks in a dense field. Add the specially developed brake-hood-free aero handlebar, which exists on no other model in the series, and the flip chips that allow individualisation for every omnium discipline. In short: the Arena Fast is the tool for long-distance riding against the clock, the Omnium Fast the tool for man-to-man combat.
The Omnium Fast was developed with the explicit support of Belgian Cycling – the Belgian track riders gave direct feedback from the trackside during development. With world champion Lindsay De Vylder, who claimed the title in this discipline last autumn, the bike has a perfect ambassador. Its territory is the mass-start races: the scratch, the tempo race, the elimination race and the points race. Unlike the Arena Fast, which is aimed at pursuit and sprint, the Omnium Fast is tuned for acceleration, position battles and split-second reactions in the bunch. Those who compete here don't race against the clock – they race shoulder to shoulder against the best in the world.
