The Topeak Zi:RAK with Quick-Mount is a highly versatile premium rear rack built for riders who want one setup for commuting, everyday riding, touring, and bikepacking. Its biggest advantage is the integrated 3-in-1 dual panel, which supports Topeak MTX 2.0, MIK, and Racktime SNAPIT 2.0. This gives you far more flexibility when choosing bags and baskets than a more single-purpose rack.
The rack offers three mounting options for broad bike compatibility: direct frame mounting, strap mounting on the seat stays, or installation via an optional thru-axle. According to Topeak, carbon-frame mounting is only permitted when using one of the optional thru-axles.
Compared with the Zi:RAK ESSENTIAL with Quick-Mount, this version is the more system-flexible choice. The Essential is presented as a lighter, more minimal rack that includes a pannier bar and is designed around pannier use plus optional U-Shell solutions, while the Zi:RAK with Quick-Mount adds a true multi-platform carrier surface. It also features integrated crossbars for pannier bags such as the Topeak Pannier DryBags, along with integrated bottle cage mounts for bottle cages, VersaCages, bags, or locks.
The Zi:RAK with Quick-Mount is compatible with road and gravel bikes up to 700 x 55C as well as trekking bikes and hardtails up to 29" x 2.5". Maximum load is 22 kg, including 12 kg on top and 5 kg per triple bottle cage mount. It is also compatible with optional TetraFender fenders and the Rack RedLite StVZO.
