The STEVENS Izoard is the entry-level model in the modern Izoard range and already offers many of the features found on the more premium versions. Its newly developed Carbon SL Fiber frame combines modern aerodynamic shaping with a balanced geometry, making the Izoard a versatile road bike for training, long rides and your first serious sporting challenges.
With a claimed weight of around 9.0 kg, the Izoard remains pleasantly light while deliberately relying on durable and proven components. This makes it an excellent choice for riders looking for an uncomplicated road bike designed to cover many trouble-free kilometres.
STEVENS equips the Izoard with the proven mechanical Shimano 105 2x12-speed groupset. Shimano 105 has long been known for precise shifting, high reliability and excellent availability of spare parts, making it an ideal choice for ambitious recreational cyclists and high-mileage riders.
A 50/34-tooth crankset combined with an 11-34-tooth cassette provides a broad gear range. Whether you are riding fast training sessions on flat roads or tackling long and demanding climbs, the Izoard offers suitable gearing for a wide variety of terrain.
The Izoard uses a robust DT Swiss AR LN Classic aluminium wheelset. Rather than chasing the lowest possible weight, these wheels focus on reliability and durability. This makes them an excellent match for riders who want to accumulate plenty of kilometres with a straightforward and dependable setup.
The bike comes standard with 30 mm Continental Grand Prix TR tyres. Their Tubeless Ready construction provides a modern combination of low rolling resistance, comfort and grip.
The completely redesigned and UCI-approved Carbon SL Fiber frame draws on technology from several STEVENS road platforms. Its aerodynamically shaped front section takes inspiration from the Arcalis aero bike, while the rear triangle incorporates characteristics of the comfort-oriented Xenith endurance platform.
The relaxed aero geometry keeps the Izoard sporty without making it overly demanding on longer rides. A slim 27.2 mm seatpost helps improve comfort, while clearance for tyres up to 32 mm gives riders additional flexibility when choosing wider road tyres.
One particularly useful feature is that even the entry-level Izoard comes with the specially developed frame bag as standard. STEVENS developed the bag together with VAUDE and integrated a Fidlock TWIST magnetic mounting system.
A spare tube, tools, energy bars or other small essentials can therefore be carried neatly and securely directly on the bike. It is a practical feature that gives even the most affordable Izoard an additional premium touch straight from the factory.
