Enable Youtube videosStevens E-AGNELLO 7.8.1 leans on a light 6061 aluminium frame with sporty yet comfortable trail geometry, internally routed cables and Boost standard (148 mm), ensuring stiff tracking and lasting ruggedness. A finely responsive 120 mm air fork (SR Suntour XCR36X-Boost 2CR) isolates roots and gravel, while the Bosch Performance Line PX together with the 800 Wh PowerTube battery delivers powerful propulsion and wide-ranging staying power; the smart Purion 200 shows all key data at a glance. The Shimano CUES U6000 11-speed derailleur system with a LINKGLIDE cassette (11–50 teeth) impresses with smooth, hard-wearing shifts and a spread that masters steep ramps as easily as brisk passages. Hydraulic Tektro HD-M3520 disc brakes on 203 and 180 millimetres respectively handle braking, gripping firmly on rough descents. Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance tyres in 2.6" bite into soft ground while still rolling lightly. A dropper Scorpo DPR-E post with remote makes the cockpit vanish downhill and rounds off the trail-ready package. The interplay of a torque-rich Bosch drive, wide eleven-speed gearing, a generous energy store and variable dropper travel turns the bike into a dependable companion. A permissible total weight of 140 kg also allows bikepacking rolls and extended loaded tours.
The "E" in first place signals electric pedal assistance and places the model in the pedelec family. "AGNELLO" is borrowed from Italian, where it means lamb – a vivid image of nimbleness, lightness and joy in climbing that underlines the bike's sporty orientation. The figures "7.8.1" describe the position within the line: the leading 7 marks the higher, sporty equipment tier, the middle 8 the level of components, and the closing 1 the respective version. In short, the name tells of drive type, character and rank.
Within the E-AGNELLO family, the 7.8.1 forms the sporty middle ground. Compared with the entry-focused 6.6.1, it steps up on energy storage (800 instead of 600 Wh) and gear count (eleven instead of ten) and adds a dropper post plus the Performance Line PX unit, noticeably lifting range, pedalling dynamics and trail capability. At the same time it sits below the top version 8.8.1, which works with twelve-speed shifting, greater torque and a Marzocchi fork. The 7.8.1 thus strikes the exact middle path between confident equipment and agile lightness for demanding tours.
Stevens E-AGNELLO 7.8.1 is designed for sporty trail loops, flowing uphills and technical descents as much as for extended tours off paved roads and the daily commute. Its balance of a strong Bosch drive, a large battery and off-road tyres makes it a nimble all-rounder. Unlike the comfort- and city-oriented e-bikes from the same maker such as E-LIVENZA or E-TRITON, the focus here is on the off-road experience with suspension comfort and climbing joy. As a diamond-frame hardtail, E-AGNELLO 7.8.1 is also offered across an especially broad size range and in two wheel sizes, so almost every rider can find a fitting frame size.
