Enable Youtube videosBehind Stevens E-AGNELLO 6.6.1 is a 6061 aluminium frame in diamond form, its cables running internally and its layout built around a Boost rear axle (148 mm) plus a Postmount mount for durable brakes. The SR Suntour XCR36X-Boost R contributes 120 mm of air travel and a torsionally stiff 15 mm thru-axle, so impacts are cushioned while the line stays precise. Bosch Performance Line delivers even thrust, while the 600 Wh PowerTube battery housed in the down tube holds enough stamina for long outings; the smart Purion 200 bundles all readouts compactly on the handlebar. The Shimano CUES U6000 runs ten gears with LINKGLIDE technology and a cassette from 11 to 48 teeth – a drivetrain distinguished by smooth, long-lasting shifts. The hydraulic Tektro HD-M280 disc brakes bite reliably at 203 mm front and 180 mm rear. Wide Schwalbe Smart Sam Performance tyres in 2.6" give purchase on loose ground and stay brisk on firm paths. Together, a quiet mid-drive motor, rugged ten-speed gearing, an air-sprung fork and grippy tyres form a well-balanced whole. Thanks to a permissible total weight of 140 kg, loaded rides and bikepacking are possible too. The Desert Dust finish lends the bike an earthy, composed look; it comes in several sizes and two wheel sizes.
The letter E opens the name, standing for electric assistance and marking the bike as a pedelec. "AGNELLO" is drawn from Italian vocabulary and means lamb – a vivid symbol of lightheartedness, nimbleness and joy in climbing. The figures "6.6.1" reveal the placement in the model family: the first 6 names a down-to-earth, accessible equipment class, the middle 6 its component level and the last 1 the respective variant. All in all, the name sums up drive form, character and rank of the bike.
Within the E-AGNELLO line, the 6.6.1 takes on the role of the accessible, versatile hardtail. It is assembled from a powerful Bosch Performance Line, a light 600 Wh battery package, an air-sprung 120 mm fork, a quality Shimano CUES ten-speed drivetrain and hydraulic disc brakes into a thoroughly uncomplicated setup. Its more strongly motorised and more finely geared siblings in the line, such as the 7.8.1 and 8.8.1, cater to even sportier demands with larger energy stores, more gears and more elaborate suspension, while the 6.6.1 scores above all with everyday usability and easy handling thanks to its balanced, maintenance-friendly mix.
Stevens E-AGNELLO 6.6.1 glides calmly over field and forest tracks, moderate trails, the daily commute and extended Sunday tours; the quiet drive and willingly gripping tyres make every route enjoyable. Unlike the clearly comfort- and city-oriented e-bikes from the same house such as E-LIVENZA or E-TRITON, this line puts off-road ability, suspension comfort and effortless climbing at its centre. As a diamond-frame hardtail in the series, E-AGNELLO 6.6.1 appears in two wheel sizes and across a broad size range, so almost every build can find a fitting frame size.
