Enable Youtube videosThe model name is built from several elements, each carrying a clear message: CAMINO is the Spanish word for "path" and describes this bike's purpose better than any technical term – it is built for roads that go beyond tarmac. PRO marks the highest equipment tier within the Camino series and signals its flagship status. DI2 stands for Shimano Di2, the electronic shifting system used here in its wireless GRX 825 form. The year 2026 refers to the model year and the completely redesigned frame that comes with it. Finally, "Light Khaki" names the colourway of this build.
The Camino Pro Di2 is the flagship of Stevens' carbon gravel range and stands out primarily through its drivetrain: while the base Camino runs the GRX 820/610 combination and the Camino Pro shifts with the mechanical GRX 820 groupset (both 2x12), the Pro Di2 works with the fully wireless Shimano GRX 825 Di2. The electronic shifting is complemented by a lightweight Fulcrum Soniq carbon wheelset that the mechanical version does not feature, along with 40 mm wide Schwalbe G-One R Pro tyres and a gravel-specific cockpit with Deda Superbox stem. At just 8.2 kg it clearly undercuts its more affordable siblings. Compared with the three RS models of the series, which are deliberately tuned for a race character, the Pro Di2 places greater emphasis on versatility and tour readiness.
The Camino Pro Di2 blends race capability with everyday usability: it is optimised for fast rides, gravel racing and long distances, combining the versatile Camino geometry with the marathon ergonomics of the Stevens Xenith Endurance. The aerodynamically optimised carbon construction, the vibration-damping steering geometry and tyre clearance of up to 45 mm keep it composed on twisting courses and rough gravel alike. Unlike the RS race variants, which are built exclusively for competition, the Pro Di2 also suits extended tours and bikepacking with integrated cable routing – a gravel bike that deliberately blurs the line between sports machine and travel companion.
