The Hektor in graphite black, a singlespeed bike, was originally designed as a track bike, but is also perfect for urban living: with Tektro brakes and a freewheel, this bike is ideal for cool rides around town. The belt drive, the exceptionally stiff frame and the special geometry ensure a super-responsive riding experience that’s direct and agile.
For the Hektor, the velodrome and criterium are its forte. The frame is built around a triple-butted aero tube set and is particularly valued by Team Schindelhauer Gates for its high stiffness and excellent handling.
Born on the racetrack and at home in the city – Hektor is the only track bike with a Gates Belt Drive, engineered for racing performance while remaining fully practical for everyday use. Its extremely stiff frame and special geometry deliver the most direct and agile ride feel of all Schindelhauer bikes. Hektor is available in two versions: fixed gear or singlespeed with freewheel and brakes.
Riders on Hektor are frequently seen on the podiums of international races, including Rad Race Last Woman Standing, the German Fixed Crit Series, Montecatini Terme – Italian Fixed Cup, and numerous other top-10 finishes such as the Red Hook Crit Brooklyn.
Beyond the racetrack, Hektor is increasingly popular in the urban jungle. In addition to exceptional riding performance, it represents the refined aesthetics of Schindelhauer design, featuring meticulously smoothed welds. The latest generation is now available either as a classic fixed-gear build or alternatively with a more commuter-friendly Tektro brake setup and freewheel. Thanks to the discreetly integrated internal cable routing in the top tube, the pure and minimalist look remains fully intact.
Pedals are not included by default. Optional Schindelhauer Urban Pedals and matching pedal straps are available separately.
