Hannah – The all-rounder: With Hannah, you can enjoy riding while benefiting from all the advantages of a fully equipped e-bike. With just one click, you can load bags weighing up to 25 kg onto the racktime luggage rack. Or you can stow your luggage on the optional front luggage rack – fixed to the frame so that you can continue to steer effortlessly.
Sturdy Wingee mudguards not only keep you dry and clean, they also feature an integrated lighting system from Supernova. All cables and hydraulic brake lines are concealed in the fork and frame.
The frame is made of triple-butted AL6061-T6 aluminium and follows the step-through trapezoid principle. A forged motor bracket, the multi-cell down tube, a forged dropout with slider belt tensioning system and belt port plus an integrated seat post clamp create the load-bearing structure, while smoothly welded seams give it a calm outline. All cables and hydraulic brake lines disappear inside frame and fork. A hydroformed aluminium fork with tapered steerer, internal cable routing, post mount mount and 15 mm through-axle is guided by an Acros ICR headset in 1.5 inch.
Shifting runs through an Enviolo TR in the rear wheel – stepless, meaning no fixed gear catalogue but a continuous ratio range. The AUTOMATiQ function, the hub’s eShift, keeps your cadence constant even under full load; you set the preferred frequency in the app and no longer need to shift yourself. For power transmission the hub works together with a Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt running50 teeth at the front, 22 teeth at the rear and 118 teeth in length. It is precisely this interplay of stepless ratios and belt drive that ensures the motor’s power reaches the road evenly with every push – and that neither oil nor a chain opening plays any role.
Drive comes from the Bosch Smartes System with a Performance CX motor delivering 250 watts of power, 85 Nm of torque and support up to 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube 500 with around 500 Wh sits integrated in the down tube and can be removed – as easily as the luggage. Control runs via the Bosch Kiox with LED remote control; the app lets you create riding modes and your own profiles, plan routes and install over-the-air updates. Via the Bosch ConnectModule, GPS theft protection is additionally possible.
The wheels sit on eyeleted Alexrims EXR25 rims with Sapim Race spokes laced three- and two-cross, with a high-flange disc front hub at the front. Schwalbe G-One Speed tyres in 50-584 with reflective stripes are fitted, delivering a springy riding comfort on field paths and a precise line on asphalt. Shimano Alfine S7000 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors provide sovereign deceleration. The short Brooks B17 S Lady saddle, Schindelhauer ergo leather grips, the Satori Stealth stem and the Satori Seagull handlebar complete the ergonomics. In size M the Hannah Enviolo Bosch Smart weighs 24.7 kilograms and is approved up to 155 kilograms total weight.
Equipment for luggage, light and year-round operation comes standard: sturdy Alumee 60 mm mudguards in Schindelhauer custom version keep off spray and grime and carry an integrated Supernova light system with Mini 2 headlight at the front and E3 tail light. On the RackTime SnapIt rear rack, bags click into place with up to 25 kilograms of load, and an optional frame-mounted front rack expands capacity. A Hebie 663 FIX18 side stand, a lock holder beneath the top tube with the option of a frame lock plus preparation for a child seat at the seat tube and a child trailer on the rear axle round out the picture.
“Hannah” is the female model name and refers to the frame shape: step-through trapezoid, the counterpart to the Heinrich with diamond frame from the same series. The name stands for the multi-talent that combines riding fun with complete everyday suitability. “Enviolo” names the transmission – the stepless Enviolo TR as internal gear hub in the rear wheel, marked by a continuous ratio range. “Bosch Smart” describes the electric system generation: the connected Smartes System with app link, updates and ConnectModule. The addition “AUTOMATiQ” in the equipment stands for the electronic eShift control of the hub, listed as “ENVIOLO TR – AUTOMATiQ”. The name is rounded off by the colour cream white and the frame size M at 50 cm.
Compared with the Hannah Enviolo featuring the Performance Line (Cruise), the differences are striking: there you find 65 Nm, 47 mm WTB Horizon tyres, Shimano MT401 brakes, a Tange Seiki headset, Wingee W52 mudguards with integrated pannier mounts, a Fabric saddle and a Kiox without remote control. This version instead relies on 85 Nm, 50 mm Schwalbe G-One Speed, Shimano Alfine S7000, Acros ICR, 60 mm Alumee mudguards, a RackTime SnapIt rear rack up to 25 kg, the Brooks B17 S Lady saddle and ergo leather grips – plus the connected Bosch system with Kiox, LED remote and ConnectModule. Within the series it therefore represents the highest equipment level. Beyond the series it sets itself apart from its siblings: Emil and Emilia carry Pinion C-Line6 or 9-speed gear on X20 or X35 basis with Mahle powertrain, Arthur and Antonia belong to the featherweight Mahle family, Friedrich and Frieda use Alfine internal gear hubs, Wilhelm is the gravel bike, Gustav and Greta ride the compact Nexus hub, Siegfried and Hektor are singlespeeds, Cato the road bike and Neo the 20-inch folding bike.
This Hannah is designed for daily routes between city and countryside: commuting, shopping, excursions into the surrounding area and multi-day tours with luggage. The low step-through and the harmonious handlebar position make mounting and dismounting easier and take strain off over long stages. 50 millimetre tyres, mudguards, battery-powered lighting, click-system rack and side stand allow you to ride off directly in any weather. Against the Pinion variants of the X20 and X35 series the Enviolo hub remains the stepless, overlapping alternative without shifting jerk and chain mess. Against the Heinrich, its male counterpart, it offers the same technology in a frame shape with a low step-through. Those who frequently move luggage, transport children or store the bike in cellar and garage additionally reach their goal via the smart system’s personalisation, software updates and theft protection.
