Hannah – The all-rounder: With Hannah, you can enjoy riding while benefiting from all the advantages of a fully equipped e-bike. With just one click, you can load bags weighing up to 25 kg onto the racktime luggage rack. Or you can stow your luggage on the optional front luggage rack – fixed to the frame so that you can continue to steer effortlessly.
Sturdy Wingee mudguards not only keep you dry and clean, they also feature an integrated lighting system from Supernova. All cables and hydraulic brake lines are concealed in the fork and frame.
The bike stands on a triple-butted AL6061-T6 aluminium frame designed as a step-through trapezoid. A forged motor bracket, the multi-cell down tube, a forged dropout with slider belt tensioning system and belt port plus the integrated seat post clamp give the structure its strength, while smoothly welded seams keep the silhouette visually calm. All lines – cables as well as hydraulic brake hoses – run invisibly inside frame and fork. At the front, a hydroformed aluminium fork with tapered steerer, post mount mount and 15 mm through-axle is topped by an Acros ICR headset in 1.5 inch.
An Enviolo TR in the rear wheel handles gear changes – stepless, without a fixed gear catalogue, with a continuous range instead of individual steps. The hub’s eShift, listed as AUTOMATiQ in the equipment, keeps your cadence constant even under full load; how fast you want to pedal you preset in the app. The hub works together with a Gates Carbon Drive CDX belt running 50 teeth at the front, 22 teeth at the rear and 118 teeth in length. This combination is the reason why the bike runs as calmly uphill as on the flat: the hub selects the matching ratio, the belt transmits power quietly and cleanly.
The ride is assisted by the Bosch Smartes System with a Performance CX motor providing 250 watts of power, 85 Nm of torque and support up to 25 km/h. The Bosch PowerTube 500 with around 500 Wh is integrated into the down tube as an in-tube battery and is removable – for errands you are not tied to one fixed location. The system is operated via the Bosch Kiox with LED remote control; your smartphone lets you configure riding dynamics and profiles, plan routes and install over-the-air updates. The Bosch ConnectModule additionally enables GPS-based theft protection.
Riding takes place on eyeleted Alexrims EXR25 rims with Sapim Race spokes, laced three- and two-cross, with a high-flange disc front hub at the front. Schwalbe G-One Speed tyres in 50-584 with reflective stripes sit wide and dampen potholes as well as cobbles. Shimano Alfine S7000 hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors deliver reliable deceleration even in the wet. Short seat post with Brooks B17 S Lady saddle, Schindelhauer ergo leather grips, Satori Stealth stem and Satori Seagull handlebar shape the seating position. In size M it weighs 24.7 kilograms, with 155 kilograms permitted total weight.
Everything for luggage and year-round use is on board: the RackTime SnapIt rear rack accepts bags via click system and up to 25 kilograms, while an optional frame-mounted front rack expands volume for longer tours. Alumee 60 mm mudguards in Schindelhauer custom version keep off spray and carry the Supernova light system with Mini 2 headlight at the front and E3 tail light. A Hebie 663 FIX18 side stand, the lock holder beneath the top tube with the option of a frame lock plus preparation for a child seat at the seat tube and a child trailer on the rear axle turn the bike into a versatile companion.
“Hannah” is the female model name and describes the frame shape: step-through trapezoid, the counterpart to the Heinrich with diamond frame. It stands for the multi-talent between riding fun and complete everyday suitability. “Enviolo” names the transmission, that is the stepless Enviolo TR as internal gear hub in the rear wheel with a continuous ratio range. “Bosch Smart” names the electric generation: the connected Smartes System with app, updates and ConnectModule. The addition AUTOMATiQ in the equipment line stands for the electronic eShift control of the hub, written out as “ENVIOLO TR – AUTOMATiQ”. Colour and size round off the name: pearl blue and frame size S at 46 cm.
Within the series, this version represents the highest technical level. Compared with the Hannah Enviolo featuring the Performance Line (Cruise), 65 Nm, 47 mm WTB Horizon, Shimano MT401, Tange Seiki, Wingee W52 with integrated pannier mounts, a Fabric saddle and a Kiox without remote control are replaced here by 85 Nm, 50 mm Schwalbe G-One Speed, Shimano Alfine S7000, Acros ICR, Alumee 60 mm, RackTime SnapIt up to 25 kg, Brooks B17 S Lady, ergo leather grips as well as the connected system with Kiox, LED remote and ConnectModule. Beyond the series it sets itself apart from its siblings: Emil and Emilia ride Pinion C-Line6 or 9-speed on X20 or X35 basis with Mahle powertrain, Arthur and Antonia belong to the featherweight Mahle family, Friedrich and Frieda to Alfine internal gear hubs, Wilhelm is the gravel bike, Gustav and Greta ride the compact Nexus hub, Siegfried and Hektor are singlespeeds, Cato the road bike and Neo the 20-inch folding bike.
Its field of use is the daily route between city and countryside: commuting, shopping, excursions into the surrounding area, multi-day tours with luggage. The low step-through and balanced handlebar position make climbing on easier and relieve strain over long distances. 50 millimetre tyres, mudguards, battery-powered lighting, click-system rack and side stand allow you to ride off directly in any weather. Against the Pinion variants of the X20 and X35 series the Enviolo hub remains the stepless, overlapping alternative without shifting jerk and chain mess. Against the Heinrich, its male counterpart, it offers the same technology in a frame shape with a low step-through. Those who move luggage, transport children or store the bike in cellar and garage gain additional comfort via personalisation, software updates and theft protection.
