The WILHELM with Shimano Di2 shifting is Schindelhauer's custom bicycle for the city, travelling sporty and agile with modern electronics. In granatrot, the deep, refined red, the Wilhelm brings warmth to urban everyday life – and with the electronic Shimano Alfine hub gear, eleven gears that shift faster and more reliably than any mechanical system. Durability and resistance lie clearly higher.

The eleven gears sit protected in the rear hub, changed at the touch of a button by the Shimano Alfine Di2 electronics. The triple-butted AL6061-T6 frame with internally routed cables keeps the design pure; the low bottom bracket and long head and top tubes ensure a sporty, tour-ready seating position. The Shimano Alfine Hollowtech II crank drives the bicycle via the Gates carbon belt (39 teeth at the front, 28 at the rear), while braking is handled by the hydraulic Shimano Alfine S7000 disc brake. Continental GP Urban Classic tyres in 35-622, the Satori Noirette bar and Ergo leather grips, a Brooks leather saddle and CNC-milled urban pedals complete the package. Depending on the frame size, the Wilhelm weighs between 12.0 and 12.6 kilogrammes; mudguards, front and rear racks and lighting can be mounted or are optional. Maximum total weight is 120 kilogrammes.

Di2 stands for the electronic Shimano shifting: eleven gears, shifted at the touch of a button, low-maintenance and precise in the protected hub. The name granatrot describes the deep, red-glowing tone of the paintwork.
