Schindelhauer WILHELM XII C-LINE is a custom-built city bike whose frame is crafted from triple-butted aluminium AL6061-T6 with aero-shaped tubes. Smooth-welded seams, an integrated seat clamp and fully internal cable routing underline the purist design. At the heart of the frame sits the compact Pinion C-Line central gearbox with twelve gears in total, keeping the centre of gravity low and central and giving the bike a perfectly balanced feel. The gears can be shifted quickly and reliably even while stationary – an asset that is especially noticeable in city traffic. Combined with the low-maintenance Gates Carbon Drive and the patented Belt Port, through which the belt can be replaced with ease, the elegant belt drive pairs beauty with freedom from maintenance.

The hydraulic Shimano Alfine disc brakes with 160-millimetre rotors bring WILHELM XII C-LINE to a powerful, controlled stop – even when racks, mudguards and panniers load the bike with considerable luggage. For such rides the bike is perfectly prepared: the permissible total weight of 120 kilogrammes leaves generous room for travel baggage, while the 35-millimetre-wide Continental GP Urban tyres glide comfortably over asphalt and light terrain alike.
