WILHELM XII P-LINE is the version of the Wilhelm custom family designed for particularly demanding riders. The frame of aluminium AL6061-T6 with aero-shaped, triple-butted tubes forms the filigree base, on which smooth-welded seams and the integrated seat clamp create a nearly seamless appearance. All cables disappear inside the frame, leaving the purist design free of disturbing elements. The heart is the CNC-machined Pinion P-Line gear unit with twelve gears, built to satisfy the highest demands. Thanks to the central position of the gearbox, the centre of gravity sits perfectly between the axles, and the directness of the shift steps recalls a singlespeed ratio with a considerably larger gear range.

The Gates Carbon belt carries power efficiently and quietly into the rear wheel, and thanks to the patented Belt Port it can be swapped quickly when needed. The hydraulic Shimano Alfine disc brake with 160-millimetre rotors delivers well-modulated deceleration, while the Continental GP Urban tyres at 35 millimetres wide combine ride comfort with reliable grip in the city. The slim Brooks Swallow Classic saddle and ergonomic leather grips complete the sporty-elegant appearance. Mudguards, front and rear racks and optional lighting can be added without difficulty, so even bigger tours pose no problem; the permissible total weight of 120 kilogrammes provides generous leeway.
