Your individual bicycle in garnet red – the C-Line series from Schindelhauer brings unique riding fun to everyday life. The WILHELM XII carries a luminous, deep red paintwork that immediately catches the eye in the city. In the bottom bracket area, the Pinion C-Line works with 12 gears – a central gearbox that ranks among the smallest and at the same time most powerful of its kind. Thanks to the Pinion principle, the gears can also be shifted reliably while stationary. As the flagship of the city custom bikes, the Wilhelm cleverly combines purist design, sporty dynamics and everyday suitability.

As with all Wilhelm models, the geometry of the AL6061-T6 frame is based on a low bottom bracket and long head and top tubes. This results in a sporty, yet tour-ready seating position that masters even longer distances with confidence. To preserve the purist appearance, all cables are routed internally. The Gates carbon belt drives the fine-toothed rear hub; deceleration is handled by the hydraulic Shimano Alfine S7000 disc brake with 160-millimetre rotors. The classic Brooks B17 saddle and the ergonomic Schindelhauer leather grips complete the high-quality concept. Mudguards, front and rear racks and optional lighting can be added at any time thanks to the mounting points; the permissible total weight is 120 kilogrammes.

What the name WILHELM XII C-LINE reveals

WILHELM is the custom bicycle system from Schindelhauer – a bicycle that can be configured individually according to your own wishes. XII stands in Roman numerals for the twelve and marks the 12 gears of this model. C-LINE denotes the gearbox family from Pinion that is characterised by a particularly compact design but enormous performance – the C-Line gearboxes are among the smallest and at the same time most powerful central gearboxes of all. Finally, garnet red names the strong, dark red paintwork that gives the custom bicycle its unmistakable appearance.

The difference between WILHELM XII C-LINE and the P-LINE

WILHELM is available with different gearbox lines: The C-LINE variants rely on the particularly compact and powerful Pinion C-Line gearboxes, while the P-LINE versions are equipped with CNC-milled Pinion gearboxes. The WILHELM XII C-LINE offers a large gear range for city traffic and tours alike with its 12 gears – with IX (9 gears) there is a compact version, with XVIII (18 gears) in the P-LINE an even finer graduation. As a city custom bike, the C-Line variant is designed for unique riding fun: fast, direct and with the noble look of a handmade bicycle.
