Instead of a conventional chain, the maintenance-free Gates Carbon Drive CDX CenterTrack belt ensures a smooth, quiet, and fast ride. Thanks to the flip-flop hub, Viktor can be ridden as a fixed gear or single speed bike.
The Shimano Alfine crankset and the toothed belt system form an excellent combination – at the same time, it is a visual highlight that decisively shapes the character of the bike.
Viktor - the puristSporty, fast and reduced. Viktor was designed as a singlespeed bike for daily use in the big city. Purist in design and supplemented by innovations from Schindelhauer: from the welded handlebar stem to the integrated seat clamp, every detail is precisely manufactured. The Gates Carbon Drive CenterTrack creates efficient and direct power transmission. Unlike a chain, this toothed belt drive is silent and maintenance-free - no rattling, no fouling, no jumping down - only the pure airstream as background noise. Thanks to the flip-flop hub Viktor can be driven either as a fixie or with freewheel. The geometries of the Schindelhauer Singlespeed bikes have their roots in rail sports or in the wheels on which bicycle couriers sprint thousands of kilometers through the heaviest traffic every day. However, the folks at Schindelhauer have carefully toned them down to bring comfort and agility together. The result is a sporty upright seating position that guarantees maximum overview in traffic and does not lead to neck stiffness even at traffic lights.
