Siegfried Road – one gear is all you need to sprint through the city in sporty style and stay in shape. The ultra-quiet Gates Carbon belt ensures a smooth, clean drive. Thanks to the flip-flop hub, the bike can be ridden as either a fixed-gear or single-speed bike. Sporty, elegant, and sophisticated—the Siegfried Road turns every road into a racetrack. Brooks components, polished elements, and the curved fork create a classically refined look.
For sporty riders, the Siegfried Road opens up new possibilities. Carefully selected components make it a reliable training partner, while the fast tires provide extra propulsion.

Enable Youtube videosIn cream white, Road shows its elegant side: a light, slightly warm lacquer covers the AL6061-T6 frame with its triple-butted Aero-Shape tube set and makes the slender diamond geometry almost float, while the dark contact points set the contrast. The substance behind it remains familiar: the forged horizontal dropout carries the Crocodile tensioning system with the Belt Port, which conceals the frame opening and turns changing the belt into child's play; integrated seat clamp, internal cable routing and carefully ground-smooth welds keep the surface calm. The curved aluminium fork compresses briefly and in a controlled way, over the Schindelhauer drop bar with Brooks leather tape the seating position stretches into a sporty, slightly aggressive posture, with the Brooks Swift saddle as a proven place to sit. Alexrims CX30 rims with radially and three-cross laced Sapim Race spokes, Tektro R539 brakes with TRP RRL levers and the narrow Continental Grand Prix Classic tyres (25-622) translate every pedal movement into speed; mounting points for mudguards and a front rack stay free, and the bike weighs 8.9 kilograms.
The drivetrain does without a gear system and lives exactly by that: the Gates Carbon Drive CDX with 60 teeth front, 22 teeth rear and 115 links transmits power in a straight line onto the rear wheel – no chain, no oil, no rattling. Two sprockets sit on the flip-flop rear hub for that: the freewheel lets Siegfried Road sahneweiß coast effortlessly and the legs rest, while the fixed gear, after turning the wheel around, connects pedals and rear end permanently, so every push arrives directly and speed is steered through the legs. The Shimano Alfine Hollowtech II crank on the BSA bottom bracket keeps the crank steady and in line, and the high-flange front hub with the generously distributed spokes gives the wheel the stiffness such a drivetrain needs. Belt, hub, rim and narrow tyre thus mesh so that little resistance and little noise remain – with maximum feeling for the bike.
"Siegfried" grows from two Old High German elements: "sieg" for victory and "fried" for peace – the conqueror who brings calm in the end. That reading has accompanied the model ever since, because it rides unassumingly yet relentlessly through traffic everyday without getting loud. "Road" adds the street as a stage: asphalt, speed, the line that turns a city lap into a sporty lap. Anyone reading both parts gets the idea of the bike in one sentence – a classic taken to the street in order to stay fast there.
The differences within the family are plain to see: cream white is the light-lacquered version of Siegfried Road and shares with alu pur frame, fork, drop bar, TRP RRL levers, 25-622 tyres and the 8.9-kilogram balance – the two differ only in their surface, alu pur showing the untreated aluminium while cream white prefers the lacquered appearance. A further lacquer version carries midnight blue on the separate Siegfried model with moon bar and wider 28-622 tyres, in other words the same idea in a more relaxed layout. The limited "Siegfried super refined" edition stands beside them as a piece of five, in which every weld was ground and polished by hand. Seating position, belt drivetrain and flip-flop function stay identical in all versions – the choice is between surface and cockpit.
Cream white belongs where the daily route becomes a training course: the sprint to the office, the long lap after work, the weekend session on open road – anywhere one gear is enough and the body sets the speed. The narrow tyres turn along briskly, the belt runs so quietly that you ride the street first thing in the morning without waking anyone, and the brake levers meter stopping precisely from the drop bar. The flip-flop function adds variety to everyday life, so the same stretch is ridden actively in fixie mode one moment and coasted relaxed the next. For the rest of life you mount mudguards and a front rack, add lighting as needed, and at 8.9 kilograms the bike carries comfortably into the apartment. Brooks leather and the sporty upright posture make sure longer distances stay pleasant too.
