Greta is the city all-rounder. A low-maintenance bike with full equipment. Whether for commuting to work, as a family bike or for longer tours – Greta is equipped for many uses with its Shimano 8-speed gear system. Carbon belt drive, front luggage rack, mudguards and integrated LED lighting with hub dynamo and disc brakes make every ride on this bike an experience.
Mounted on the frame, the steering remains agile even with heavier loads. An integral part of the carrier concept are the innovative tension straps (VarioStraps), which can be individually adjusted to the size and shape of the load.

Enable Youtube videosGreta was born from a single idea: good urban riding should be easy, reliable and elegant. To achieve that, the city bike pairs a step-through trapez frame in 6061 aluminium – flat-welded with aero-profiled tubing – with a Gates Carbon Drive belt running over a belt port and a sliding tensioning system. The material choice pays off twice: light yet stiff aluminium keeps the bike at a remarkably low weight of around 13 kilograms, while the belt needs no lubrication, so trousers, suits and kickstands stay spotless. Gearing comes from a Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub with a 307 percent spread – the belt-and-hub combination is a natural fit for town riding, since it allows effortless gear changes, even at a standstill. Braking is sharp and controllable via Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors. Lighting completes the concept: a Shimano hub dynamo powers a LED headlight and a Curana ilu-Junior tail light integrated into the mudguard, with a standlight so Greta is visible at any hour. For errands and trips, a frame-mounted front rack fitted with VarioStraps carries up to 15 kilograms.
The model name consists of a single element – the given name Greta, well known across Scandinavia and central Europe as the short form of Margareta, whose root translates as 'pearl'. It is a name of quiet elegance that still feels down-to-earth, much like the bicycle it describes.
Greta belongs to a model family built on a shared platform. Its direct counterpart is Gustav: while Gustav keeps the classic diamond frame with a straight top tube, Greta opens up the step-through space with a trapez frame that makes mounting and dismounting noticeably easier. The two are technically identical – the same flat-welded 6061 aluminium frame with aero tubing, the same Gates belt with belt port, the same Shimano Nexus 8-speed hub and hydraulic disc brakes front and rear. The only real difference lies in geometry and the riding position that follows.
Greta is a practical all-rounder in the truest sense. The low step-through qualifies it for urban mobility, where bikes are mounted frequently – on the way to work, dropping the kids off at school, or out in city clothes that stay clean thanks to the lubrication-free belt. The 47 mm wide WTB Horizon tyres on 27.5-inch rims smooth out cobblestones and kerbs while tracking true, and the dynamo-driven light set never runs out of power. Wrapped VarioStraps on the frame-mounted front rack let Greta carry up to 15 kilograms of luggage – from a briefcase to a tent. The double kickstand keeps it level even when fully loaded, and a child seat goes on without hassle. While sibling Gustav, with its diamond frame, leans towards sportier riders, Greta chooses the more relaxed path: comfort, visibility in any light and day-to-day usability from Monday to Sunday. Greta is available in two frame sizes: S (45 cm) for riders from 158 to 172 cm and M (50 cm) for riders from 172 to 186 cm.
