Hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors provide controlled, powerful stopping, and the lighting – hub dynamo, LED headlight and an integrated tail light with standlight – makes Greta complete in every season. The model name consists of one single element – the given name Greta. It comes from the Scandinavian and German language area and is the endearing short form of Margareta, whose root carries the meaning 'pearl'. Greta shares its series with a closely related sibling, Gustav – up to one decisive fork in the road: the frame shape. Gustav offers the classic look of the diamond frame with a straight top tube; Greta opts for a step-through trapez frame.
