The low step-through frame from Desiknio comes in two elegant colours and offers a super comfortable riding position. Like all Desiknio bikes, it combines modern Mahle motor technology and straightforward Pinion gearing to create a lightweight e-bike for your daily journeys around town.
Desiknio’s urban bikes: beautiful bicycles made for real city life. The name Desiknio is derived from “design” and the Greek word “kinesis” for movement, representing stylish mobility. Every urban bike not only looks good but also feels great to ride. Speaking of feelings: all bikes are named after hormones – Dopamine, Serotonin and Oxytocin, the “cuddle hormone” – perfectly matching the feel-good experience of riding this e-bike.
The low step-through frame makes mounting and dismounting extremely comfortable. Thanks to the one-size concept, the e-bikes fit a wide range of riders instantly. Equipped with the Mahle X30 rear hub motor: a compact, lightweight and quiet e-bike drive system delivering up to 250 W and 45 Nm of torque. The Pinion C1.9 gearbox: a robust 9-speed transmission with a very wide gear range.

Enable Youtube videosAluminium 6061-T6 is strengthened through a special heat treatment process (solution heat-treated, quenched, artificially aged), resulting in high tensile strength and fatigue resistance at low weight. It is corrosion-resistant and low-maintenance, extending the lifespan of the frame. The Desiknio Oxytocin 1.9 features custom-shaped tubes designed to optimize both performance and aesthetics. The head tube is tapered, with the fork narrowing towards the top and widening towards the bottom, reducing weight while increasing control. Internal cable routing ensures a clean, elegant look, protects cables from dirt and damage, improves aerodynamics and reduces drag without compromising stability.
Desiknio combines multiple high-end manufacturing processes: CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining ensures precision and consistent quality in critical frame areas. Handcrafted TIG double smooth welding creates strong, clean welds using inert gas shielding. Double smooth welding results in visually seamless, nearly invisible welds. Finally, the frame is hand polished. This combination of advanced technology and craftsmanship ensures exceptional quality.
The integrated battery supplies power to the motor and electronics via an internal connection. It is designed to remain inside the frame and is charged via a discreetly positioned charging port, typically located on the seat tube or frame bridge. This maintains a clean look, protects the port from dirt and weather, and preserves the frame’s sleek design.
The TRP C1.8 Clean Cockpit brakes are hydraulic disc brakes specifically designed for a clean cockpit layout. Brake hoses exit close to the handlebars, allowing internal cable routing for a minimalist look and better integration of cockpit components.
The Gates Carbon Drive replaces the traditional bicycle chain with a reinforced carbon belt. The Gates Drive is a high-quality carbon belt that ensures durable and quiet power transmission. Carbon offers high tensile strength combined with low weight, allowing the belt to operate particularly efficiently and minimizing wear. Advantages: clean, quiet, rust-free, durable, and consistent power transmission. Also available as the CDX: even more powerful, higher quality, and thus more wear- and weather-resistant than the more affordable CDN model.
The Pinion C-Line is a robust gearbox system integrated directly into the bottom bracket area. As a bottom bracket gearbox, it offers a sealed, low-maintenance design that is reliably protected against dirt, water and mechanical wear. Advantages over derailleur systems: quiet operation, durability, low maintenance and the ability to shift while stationary – ideal for stop-and-go traffic. The XR version offers a wider gear range than the standard version.
The CNC-milled aluminium pedals are machined from a single block rather than cast or welded. This prevents material defects and results in especially high-quality pedals. In addition, the pedals are anodized: the aluminium surface has been hardened and protected through a special electrochemical process. Anodized pedals retain their appearance longer, resist dirt, moisture and scratches more effectively, and are generally more durable than untreated aluminium pedals.
The MAHLE X30 hub motor for e-bikes operates with two important systems: the AMC system and the PS sensor. The AMC system (“Automatic Motor Connection”) ensures that the motor automatically connects to the bike’s electronics as soon as the rear wheel is installed. This means there is no need to connect cables manually – the motor essentially plugs itself in. This makes installation easier and safer, while also ensuring a clean and tidy cockpit. The PS sensor is the pedal-assist sensor, which detects when and how you are pedaling. It sends this information to the motor, which then delivers the appropriate level of support. If you pedal harder, the motor can provide more assistance; if you pedal lightly, it supports you more gently. This makes the ride feel natural and allows the motor to respond precisely to your movements.
The battery uses Panasonic 18650GA lithium-ion cells, which are known for high energy density, long service life and stable performance. Together, these cells provide 36 V and a capacity typical for urban e-bikes (~250 Wh). They are robust and designed for continuous use, ensuring reliable support over many charging cycles. An optional bottle battery can be added to double the capacity. CAN-BUS (Controller Area Network) is a communication protocol that connects the battery with the motor, controller and other components. Unlike simple batteries that only “deliver power,” these components communicate with each other, enabling real-time data transmission, faster charging and improved system diagnostics.
The wheels of the Desiknio Oxytocin X30 Pinion C1.9 combine robust aluminium rims, reliable spokes and a powerful motorized rear hub with high-quality Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H tires, which are ideally suited for roads and urban routes. This construction provides a stable, durable and low-maintenance wheelbase for everyday city riding.
The Oxytocin’s handlebar is made from anodized aluminium with a semi-matte, silky black finish. The anodizing makes it scratch- and corrosion-resistant, and therefore especially durable. The elegant surface matches the clean lines of the frame, while the ergonomic shape provides a comfortable hand position and precise control. Subtle branding completes the premium design. Shifting is done via a twist shifter (Quick Grip Shifter), with one side slightly shorter to make room for the shifter without compromising comfort.
The LED on the iWoc One uses different colors and flash codes to clearly and intuitively show which assistance mode is active and what the battery level is, allowing you to check everything quickly while riding without needing a large display. The V521S is a high-quality LED headlight made from anodized aluminium, featuring a very even beam pattern and integrated daytime running light. It is powered directly by the e-bike electronics and can be operated via the control system or connected display. Power is supplied by the bike battery, while a soft-start function protects the LED, ensures a long service life and provides broad compatibility with e-bike systems.
The Brooks Cambium C67 saddle is a comfortable, weather-resistant bicycle saddle that is particularly well suited to e-bikes, city, touring and trekking rides. Instead of traditional leather padding, the C67 is made from vulcanized natural rubber with a nylon top, giving it a flexible, shock-absorbing surface that feels comfortable immediately without a long break-in period. The C67 frame is made from sturdy steel rails, ensuring reliability and durability – especially important for frequent use and rough roads. The connection points are fitted with anodized aluminium rivets, which are corrosion-resistant and add further strength to the saddle.
On the Supernova rear light, the lighting is controlled through your e-bike’s onboard electronics: power supply and on/off switching are handled by the central system, which is activated via the HMI control interface. (HMI stands for Human-Machine Interface.) This means you do not need to manage the lighting separately – the system switches the lights on automatically when you start riding or depending on the selected mode of your e-bike system.
The Bluetooth control unit of the X30 Smart System allows you to select the assistance level, view the battery status, control the lights and use gyroscope and motion detection. This unit is positioned slightly farther from the handlebar because the frame design does not use a traditional top tube, where such control or display units are often mounted. In this position, it remains easy to reach while being neatly integrated into the frame, supporting the bike’s minimalist look.
