The name "DOPAMINE" is borrowed from English and refers to the neurotransmitter responsible for pleasure and reward signals – the underlying idea being that this e‑bike should bring a smile to the rider's face on every trip. The "PEAK" suffix identifies the highest‑spec variant within the Dopamine model line; it differs from the standard Dopamine by employing the higher‑grade TRP HYWIRE hydraulic brakes instead of the Shimano BR‑MT201 brakes. "Smart.Shift" points to the Pinion electronic shifting technology, enabling gear changes at the push of a button – even under load or at a standstill. "MAHLE X20" finally denotes the hub motor of the drive system, a compact unit delivering 250 watts, 55 Nm of torque and weighing just 1.4 kg.
