Initially, Abus produced primarily padlocks and mechanical locking systems. With the rise of the bicycle as a means of everyday transport and recreation, bicycle locks were gradually added to the range – first simple U-locks, later folding locks, chain locks, and frame locks. The ABUS Bordo Granit XPlus 6500K/90 SH features hardened links and a higher security level, while the ABUS Bordo Granit XPlus 6500K/120 SH provides the same design in an extended version for more locking options. The ABUS BORDO LITE 6055C/85 black SH is a compact, lighter version with a combination lock, and the ABUS BORDO LITE 6055K folding lock / 85cm is its key-operated equivalent. Even more compact is the ABUS BORDO LITE MINI 6055C/60 black, designed specifically for short locking situations and lower security needs. As the only chain lock in the range, the ABUS STEEL-O-CHAIN 8807K chain lock / 85cm completes the offering with more flexible use at a slightly higher weight.
